Crowd Racing Runners Update – We have a lot of activity with the Crowd Racing string and you can read some details below. GENUINELY CROWDED – Annoying, but not the end of the world. Thankfully! GC had been due to run at Musselburgh on Friday but has pulled up lame this morning. It is nothing to be concerned about, just poor timing for the run this week. Lucy believes it is an abcess similar to what The Detainee had, but that will be confirmed today. GC has eaten up well, […]

Arishka wins again! Her Crowd of owners were so proud as the 3yr old filly got her in front for the second race in a row. ANOTHER WIN! Excellent ride by Keiran O’Neill, excellent training performance by Dan, Claire and the team and an excellent performance from Arishka saw her follow-up the Newcastle win at Nottingham last night. Dan’s decision to swerve the option on the 10th was proven to be absolutely spot-on as Arishka tracked the leader and ran on very well to lead inside the final furlong to […]

Trainer Daniel Kubler has entered Crowd Racing filly, Arishka for the 535 at Nottingham on Saturday 20th April. Looking to follow-up her recent win at Newcastle, Arishka will race of 68 in this 0-70 5f Handicap for 3yr olds. Owned alongside the Diskovery Partnership, we are very excited about the future for Arishka and we are convinced she has more to come. It has been a long journey, and it has taken a lot longer than we had envisaged but this week has seen Crowd Racing filly, Genuinely Crowded back on the gallops. The joint pain she was experiencing when she arrived from Jamie’s took longer to sort than the vet had thought, so it was fantastic to see GC enjoying herself on the gallops at Lucy’s yard. She has always been a beautiful filly, and she looks better than ever. She has taken the time off to grow and strengthen and […]

Last night saw another cracking run from Crowd Racing horse Born To Finish.   Under regular jockey Dougie Costello, BTF finished 2nd in the 630 handicap at Chelmsford Racecourse, the 3rd time he has finished 2nd in the 3 runs he has ran there.     Maybe Chelmsford isn’t the right track for BTF? Again, he is a fast finishing 2nd, arguably a little unlucky and Dougie says with some confidence, that the same race at Lingfield or Kempton sees him win by 2 lengths or more.   The track […]

As Crowd Racing horse Born To Finish’s name suggests, he truly does have a pedigree par excellence, as is ably revealed by the story of his sire Dark Angel.     An elegant grey, Dark Angel was a top class sprinter in his day. Excelling in a nine race campaign as a two year old. Those nine outings netted one second place and four victories, including in the group two Mill Reef Stakes and the group one Middle Park Stakes. Retiring after that solitary season as a racer, Dark Angel […]

Aqlaam – Sire of The Detainee

Aqlaam Stallion Profile As sire of the Crowd Racing horse The Detainee, the story of stallion Aqlaam is well worth knowing. Trained by leading trainer William Haggas, Aqlaam was a progressive miler who placed on his only 2yr old start. Quickly progressing on to bigger and better things in his 3yr old year.   Eight subsequent race outings delivered no fewer than four victories, with most of these coming in valuable and prestigious contests. Amongst Aqlaam’s most impressive wins were the Group Three Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot, the Group […]

Crowd Racing Entries and Declarations

Below we have listed all the current Crowd Racing entries and declarations. Entries are not confirmed runs. Until the horse is declared, please do not assume these dates are certain runs!   FLYING BEAR Flying Bear has been retired following some bleeding from his nose. He will go onto a new career now, but racing would have put too much pressure on the horse and may well have caused more bleeding. It is always sad for a career to end in this way, but we have to do what is […]

Crowd Racing offers various ownership packages on a transparent, one-off cost basis with no hidden charges.

Depending on the level of package purchased, share owners received a variety of racehorse owner benefits; All owners are entitled to their pro-rata share of prize-money and re-sale of the horse at the end of the defined period.

While we will always strive to buy racehorses for our owners which will win races and increase in value, the costs involved in training and running a racehorse plus the relatively low levels of prize money in the UK, make showing an upside on the initial investment made by owners very difficult and somewhat rare.

Shares bought in horses via Crowd Racing, should always be viewed as a social investment with no expectation of any financial upside. We can guarantee you will love being involved and have some wonderful experiences but we cannot guarantee you will make money.
