Crowd Racing Runners Update – We have a lot of activity with the Crowd Racing string and you can read some details below.

GENUINELY CROWDED – Annoying, but not the end of the world. Thankfully!

GC had been due to run at Musselburgh on Friday but has pulled up lame this morning. It is nothing to be concerned about, just poor timing for the run this week. Lucy believes it is an abcess similar to what The Detainee had, but that will be confirmed today.
GC has eaten up well, and seems in good spirits so the issue is not appearing serious but if she can’t trot or canter, she can’t run.

ARISHKA – Newcastle and Beverley ignored in favour of Windsor

After much analysis and discussion, the decison has been made for Arishka to head to Windsor on Monday.
The combination of travel distance and some interesting opponents made Newcastle less appealing, and there is no guarantee of a run at Beverley so Windsor is the call.
She ran well there on debut, and Kieran is available to again take the ride. Decs are not done until Saturday morning, so more details will be confirmed then.

BORN TO FINISH – Windsor also for BTF and a new jockey…..

Born To Finish will be declared for Windsor on Monday, with Ed keen to get him back racing sooner rather than later.
The plan had been to get William Cox to ride as it is an apprentice race, but on closer inspection it is actually a race for apprentices who have ridden less than 20 winners.  This reduces the pool of options a lot and we considered a few options but have decided on giving the ride to Amelia Glass who is apprentice at Clive Cox and while has not ridden many winners she has plenty of experience of handling horses like BTF at Clive’s. She also shares an agent with Adam Kirby, Kieran O’Neill and Trevor Whelan who have all ridden winners for us, so maybe that is an omen!

ELF DE RE – Couple of bumpers on the agenda

Elf has been pleasing Sandy this week in his work, so the call has been taken to enter him for 2 bumpers next week. One at Kelso and one at Ayr, and we will see what is in opposition before making a final decision but Sandy thinks Ayr will suit best, so could well end up being the chosen option.

Welcome to Crowd Racing

Crowd Racing is one of the UK’s most innovative Racehorse Ownership and Experience companies.

We offer ownership shares in racehorses and racehorse ownership experiences in the UK and Europe, via our "Crowds".

By joining a Crowd, you will become a registered owner of that racehorse for a fixed period of time, for a fixed cost. At the end of the period, you will get to vote on whether we keep the horse(s) but you will never be committed to remaining as part of that Crowd, irrespective of the vote result.

Crowd Racing offers various ownership packages on a transparent, one-off cost basis with no hidden charges.

Depending on the level of package purchased, share owners received a variety of racehorse owner benefits; All owners are entitled to their pro-rata share of prize-money and re-sale of the horse at the end of the defined period.

We also offer a totally free to join Racing Club, The Crowd Racing Club

While we will always strive to buy racehorses for our owners which will win races and increase in value, the costs involved in training and running a racehorse plus the relatively low levels of prize money in the UK, make showing an upside on the initial investment made by owners very difficult and somewhat rare.

Shares bought in horses via Crowd Racing, should always be viewed as a social investment with no expectation of any financial upside. We can guarantee you will love being involved and have some wonderful experiences but we cannot guarantee you will make money.
