It is great fun to be involved with racehorses.

Taking a look behind the scenes, watching the horses race, following the horses as they grow and develop and being in the Crowd are all great to be a part of.

The Crowd Racing string is built of a superb range of racehorses; three beautiful young fillies and a couple of older horses with plenty improvement to still come, one over hurdles and the other on the flat. There is definitely something for everyone. 

Not just five horses to follow, but you also get five trainers too. Jamie Osborne and Daniel Kubler are in Lambourn, Berkshire, Neil Mulholland is in the West Country, near Bath, Lucy Normile is near Perth, in Scotland and Ziva Prunk is in Austria.

These are five lovely racehorses, with five excellent trainers. There will be a lot of activity to keep you interested as a member of the CROWD RACING CLUB.

Nothing much beats the experience of being a racehorse owner, and this is the closest thing you will find for FREE. An opportunity to have involvement in 5 racehorses such as these in one go is rare.

The newly launched Gold and Green Crowd (GG Crowd), offers a deeper insight in racehorse ownership with access to exclusive owner information and events, chance of Owners and Trainers Badges for the races, and share of any prize money earned by the Crowd Racing horses.

The racehorses currently included in the Crowd Racing Club are

  • Born To Finish (Jamie Osborne)
    • BTF has won 7 races and placed numerous times for Crowd Racing and is a 5yr old gelding.
    • Currently there are a small number of full shares available in Born To Finish
  • Genuinely Crowded (Lucy Normile)
    • Having had just 3 runs, Genuinely Crowded is now a 3yr old filly. She has just been allocated her first handicap mark and will be running again very soon.
    • We have some shares available in GC, details can be found by clicking here
  • Arishka (Daniel Kubler)
  • The Detainee (Neil Mulholland)
    • TD is a 5yr old gelding and mixes hurdling with flat racing. He has won 2 races and placed 5 times.
    • We have a limited number of shares remaining in The Detainee, more details can be found by clicking here

Racehorses that are no longer an active part of the Crowd Racing family

  • Major Crispies
    • Major Crispies won one race and placed on 3 occasions for Crowd Racing before being claimed by David O’Meara.
  • Sparkling Cossack
    • SC wasn’t with us for long, and delivered one great run for 3rd place which sadly handicapped her out of winning a race. She was sold at the HIT sale to an Italian Bloodstock agent.
  • Flying Bear
    • FB was a cracking sprinter who ran 4 placed finishes for Crowd Racing but was sadly retired after developing an issue which resulted in him bleeding. He is now loving his retirement.
  • Golly Miss Molly
    • GMM was a cheap purchase and a beautiful mare who ran one placed finish before she went to the sales when the trainer was due to leave the country. She won her first two races for her new owners.
  • Trending
    • Trending was a superb grey superstar of a racehorse, who won 1 race and placed twice for us before needing to be retired with a minor heart issue. He is currently being retrained and is fit and well.
  • Acom
    • Acom was the world’s first crowdfunded racehorse, and sadly wasn’t a superstar. He had some ability and did run a cracking race for 4th at one stage, but he appeared to be afraid of other horses. He is now enjoying his retirement.

Welcome to Crowd Racing

Crowd Racing is one of the UK’s most innovative Racehorse Ownership and Experience companies.

We offer ownership shares in racehorses and racehorse ownership experiences in the UK and Europe, via our "Crowds".

By joining a Crowd, you will become a registered owner of that racehorse for a fixed period of time, for a fixed cost. At the end of the period, you will get to vote on whether we keep the horse(s) but you will never be committed to remaining as part of that Crowd, irrespective of the vote result.

Crowd Racing offers various ownership packages on a transparent, one-off cost basis with no hidden charges.

Depending on the level of package purchased, share owners received a variety of racehorse owner benefits; All owners are entitled to their pro-rata share of prize-money and re-sale of the horse at the end of the defined period.

We also offer a totally free to join Racing Club, The Crowd Racing Club.

We have well over 300 owners involved in  Crowd Racing, and many of them are involved in multiple horses. Our customers retention levels are above 90%, so we know we are doing a lot right, but we are constantly looking to improve.

We embrace new technology to find better and more innovative ways to communicate and deliver better for our owners, and we thrive on listening to the feedback of those that matter the most;

While we will always strive to buy racehorses for our owners which will win races and increase in value, the costs involved in training and running a racehorse plus the relatively low levels of prize money in the UK, make showing an upside on the initial investment made by owners very difficult and somewhat rare.

Shares bought in horses via Crowd Racing, should always be viewed as a social investment with no expectation of any financial upside. We can guarantee you will love being involved and have some wonderful experiences but we cannot guarantee you will make money.
